How the season works
The season runs from March to December with around 24 Grands Prix, several of them with a sprint race. Points from every race add up to the drivers' and constructors' championships.
How these markets resolve
Race-winner markets usually settle on the official classification. Post-race penalties can change the result after the chequered flag — read when a market takes its result and whether later stewards' decisions count.
Questions
Do post-race penalties change Formula 1 market results?
That depends on the rules of each market. Many take the official classification at a fixed time after the race; a penalty handed out after that point may not count.
